Hasselblad 500
For as long as I’ve been seriously interested in photography, the Hasselblad has held a hypnotic grip on me. The name, the shape of the camera, the size of the negatives, the infamous sound of the Hasselblad shutter. Unfortunately the camera costs a lot.

New additions
I was a bit surprised, but pleasantly so, to find that also an offer on a Zorki 4 has been approved. I’ve transferred the money yesterday and hope I’ll receive the camera later this week. It will by my second rangefinder and this one ought to be a bit more easily operated. Will keep you informed.
Currently I also have offers out on a Yashica Minister-D and a Yashica 44.

Rolleicord III
The first page has been added to the site and I thought it was appropriate to use my Rolleicord to start this site with. The Rolleicord was my first vintage camera. I’ve shot a few images of the Rolleicord and uploaded them to my Flickr site. You can see the page about the camera and the photos over here (and is also available through the page on the left side of this site).

A vintage camera blog?
Is that actually really necessary? Well, probably not for information on vintage cameras. There loads of sites for that, including a very informative Camerapdia. However I am starting up a little collection of my own and it wouldn’t really fit the format of my main site that focusses on photography and not so much about camera’s themselves.
Merely adding a page to that site would mean that the one page would get crammed with text and pictures about my collection and that didn’t seem fair either, so I decided to add a subsite: vintagecams.kjguch.com. I’ll link to it from my main site to make it easier to find and will work on pages for the various cameras I have. I’ll add photos of the cameras and -if possible- by the cameras. For now the site is under construction!
